Dear Supporters,

Do you believe that all students, including undocumented youth, deserve equal access to education? If so, pick up the phone, today, and call (919) 716-6400. Ask Attorney General Cooper to support in-state tuition for undocumented youth.

The North Carolina Attorney General’s Office, 919-716-6400

Sample Script: “Hi, I’m calling to ask that Attorney General Cooper come out in support of in state tuition for undocumented students in NC. As their supporter, I refuse to watch students miss another year because they can’t afford to pay. With or without an immigration status, they’ve graduated from NC high schools. Let them learn!”

Earlier this week, State Rep. Marcus Brandon formally requested a written opinion from Attorney General Roy Cooper as to whether undocumented students are eligible for in-state tuition. With the stroke of a pen, Attorney General Cooper has the power to transform the lives of thousands of Tar Heels.

On Thursday, December 19th, The North Carolina “One State, One Rate” Campaign and the NC Dream Team will be hosting press conferences at 10am in Charlotte and 4pm in Durham. Please join us.
