On May 6, the Farm Labor Organizing Committee will be marching on RJ Reynolds in Winston-Salem. Get a full schedule of events here and keep an eye out for any updates. Read more about the issue here.

RJ Reynolds, for the past three years, has refused to meet with the union of people who tend their fields. From the organizers:

The annual shareholder’s meeting is our chance to make sure farmworkers’ voices are heard. FLOC supporters from labor, faith, civil rights, campus, and the broader community will be inside and outside of the meeting calling on the tobacco giant to end human rights abuses in their supply chain. In these times of attacks on working people from Wisconsin to North Carolina, it is even more important that we stand together in solidarity.
