A number of major newspapers have published editorials in favor of the DREAM Act this month, building up to a vote in the coming days.

Yesterday the New York Times published an published an editorial in support, following favorable words on the bill from five previous editorials in the past year (see them here, here, here, here and here).

The Los Angeles Times and Chicago Tribune have also run supportive editorials.

While the supportive urban newspapers might seem predictable to some, Michelle Malkin (who apparently can’t use the Transparent Background Tool in MS Paint) was dealt a critical blow when the Wall Street Journal, a News Corp. outlet, also came out in support of the bill. Their support follows a supportive column run in Forbes earlier this year, suggesting that which has been known all along: support for the DREAM Act spans the political spectrum.
