Since this post tells most of what happened at the last vigil, there’s no need to re-narrate the event. But these are great photos and we want to share them with the world.

Lots of allies came out to support from the community and other organizations. We were happy to have everyone here and share our favorite moments.

Rebecca, an ally who has spent countless hours (both day and night) at the camp, shared poetry with the attendees.

Lots of our friends stayed into the night.

We began the candlelight ceremony shortly after nightfall.

Here Esteban, who takes a lot of photographs for the DREAM Team, is being photographed by Justin. Now you’re in on the joke.

The night ended with everyone singing “We Shall Overcome” by Pete Seeger. The children led the audience in the last chorus. Viridiana called out to the crowd to “Put ’em up, like the Statue of Liberty!” and everyone did, smiling away.
